Church giving email templates.
Three giving emails to copy: how to give, the year-end reminder, and an update during a campaign. Fill in the brackets and send them from a person.
Ways to give
Most people do not know every way they can give. Tell them, without asking for anything else.
The year-end reminder
Send in early December, and a short final note a few days before December 31.
The campaign update
Monthly while a campaign is running. Lead with progress.
Giving, designed
Butter does not process gifts. Its giving sections link to the giving page you already use. Ways to give lists online, check, donor-advised fund, and stock in one place. Campaign progress draws the bar from the goal and the amount raised, which you type in each time you send.

FAQs
If yours is not here, email us at support@butterhq.com.
How often should a church email about giving?
A ways-to-give email once or twice a year, a year-end reminder in December, and a monthly update while a campaign is running. A line about giving in the weekly email is fine. Asking every week is not.
When should a church send a year-end giving email?
In early to mid December, with a short reminder a few days before December 31. Gifts made by December 31 count toward that tax year.
Does Butter process donations?
No. Butter’s giving sections link to the giving page your church already uses, so gifts keep going where they go today.
Can the campaign progress bar update itself?
No. You type the goal and the amount raised, and the bar is drawn from those numbers. Update them each time you send.
