Is Church Space the same as Flowforth?

Yes. Church Space announced in October 2026 that it is now called Flowforth. Same company, same product.

How is pricing different?

Flowforth charges by emails sent, so a busier month costs more. Butter charges by contacts and doesn’t count sends, so an extra event email or a Saturday reminder never changes your bill.

Does Flowforth require Planning Center?

Yes. Flowforth’s pricing page says a Planning Center account is required to send. Butter works best with Planning Center, but you can also import a file or collect sign-ups with a form.

Does Butter have automations?

No. Butter sends newsletters, not automated sequences. If a visitor welcome sequence matters to you, Flowforth or Planning Center People’s own email automations are the better fit, and there are welcome email templates here.

Does either one change my Planning Center data?

Butter only reads from Planning Center and never writes anything back. Flowforth can post emails to Church Center as announcements when you choose to.
